Imagine: you are standing at the edge of a deadly high cliff with barely visible jagged rocks at the far bottom. Do you know that gravity works? I didn’t ask if you know what will happen should you jump, I asked: do you know that gravity works? Well, some people claim you can’t know anything. I mean, you could believe that gravity doesn’t work. You could get the idea that a Super-Human will swoop in and save you. You could have an opinion you’re going to transform into Peter-Freaking-Pan halfway down. You could tell yourself “I control gravity” through positive affirmations. But those are beliefs, those are probabilities, those are not knowing.
Gravity is set in stone, it is LAW. It is not a probability that the force of gravity will be effecting you, it is a certainty that the force of gravity will be effecting you. Your belief is not required for gravity to effect you. Sure, some other force could swoop in and overpower gravity, but the Law of gravity is still in effect despite some other force overpowering it (I understand we could complicate things here, a Super-Human could control gravity itself, but let’s not go there right now).
So if you jumped off, what would happen? Yes, your chances of survival are technically above zero, maybe a Super-Human would swoop in and save you (and good luck with Peter Pan). But the point I’m making here is, you know the Law of gravity will be there, with no beliefs needed, no ideas required, and no opinions necessary. What is in your best interest: what you know, or what you believe? Should you make your choices based off what you know, or what you believe? The next step in your life is to ether walk off that deadly cliff with what you believe, or walk away with what you KNOW.
Knowing provides vastly better guidelines through life than believing, and that is why it’s so damn important to discuss the differences.
Which is a major thread throughout this entire site. Knowing is Consciously recognizing the observable patterns of reality until a reliable regularity is established. It is pattern re-cognition, seeing the pattern for what it IS, not what we want it to be. Believing is buying into whatever brings you comfort, regardless of pattern, reliability, regularity, or repercussions to others. Believing is almost always a comforting thing, it warms you up with that “everything is gonna be okay” feeling. Believing gives you the impression (not necessarily the reality, just the impression) of security. Believing you don’t have Free Will removes the uncomfortable responsibility to make the right choices.
Knowing, on the other hand, is often uncomfortable. I mean, really uncomfortable. I mean, fucking terrifying kind of uncomfortable. And because of this, seeing the differences between knowing and believing requires you abandon all concern for how they make you feel. Emotional stability is a prerequisite of mental growth. Learning is about pure Consciousness, not feel-good happy times 24/7.
Emotional tenacity leads to knowing, while lack of emotional resilience forces a mind into believing, because it cannot handle the truth. The muscles of a mind are made of emotional stuff, and the deeper one delves into truth the more “weight” presses upon their mind. And “buffing up” emotions is not a process of denying emotions, it’s a process of embracing emotions. Tears are irreplaceable. Tears are what builds the muscles of a mind. There are no substitutes for sadness. Emotions are not the problem, the problem is when an emotion is labeled as “wrong,” denied and bottled up until it has nowhere left to go, and finally explodes out into some horrific behavior. Whether that emotion deals with sexuality, depression, life, death, or anger, or whatever, an emotion’s denial leads to horrific behavior. It is easier to harm another than it is to heal oneself.
Emotions are far more powerful than thoughts, which is why “positive thinking” is actually bullshit. Embracing the “negative” emotions that are causing those negative thoughts in the first place, and letting them wash over you like a cold cleansing rain, is what will bring real results. Express instead of repress. The weak minded and denied of heart need to proxy truth with a belief—and they need to get their asses to the “gym.” We have been trained to fear tears, by masters who fear our awakening.
The means through which we come to know about gravity is through awareness, through seeing it for ourselves, through making it Conscious and understood. Truth is discovered by experiencing it for yourself, by making truth conscious before your perception. Knowing something is the result of becoming conscious of that something. Knowing has nothing to do comfort, nothing. To know is be aware of. It’s that simple.
And the means by which we can become aware of something go far beyond just the five senses, we have this thing called heart that feels, and we have this thing called mind that thinks. And of course, we also have infantile external technologies—yes, I said infantile. I’m not waiting for an electron microscope, space age telescope, or Hadron Collider to tell me who I am, thank you very much. I love genuine science, don’t hear me wrong, but the preachers of scientism (the belief-system that claims external technology is the ONLY way to ever know anything) have some serious problems going on inside their heads.
Real science has nothing to do with politics or profits, degrees or debates, popularity or prestige, beliefs or bullshit, it has to do with IRREFUTABLE TRUTH.
We are not bound within the five senses, the five senses are our conduit to the physical world, but they are not the totality of our inner world. Knowing anything, such as gravity, requires discovery of it through awareness. And this goes for every other Law of Nature.
Gravity is a Law of Nature. That means humanity didn’t put it into affect. It is of the Natural world, of Nature, not of the Personal or Social worlds. We can call gravity a “Natural Law.” You could also say: “Reliable Constant.” And there are far more Natural Laws at work besides just gravity, and many of them govern more than just the material universe. Nature is a word with the connotation of all the plant and animal life, yes, but Nature also refers to all the impersonal programmed forces at work in the universe.
Gravity does not care about you, it will not shut itself off just to save your ass. Gravity kills, gravity hurts, but so can every Natural Law if they are not properly followed with full awareness of them (I’ll be going in-depth about specific Natural Laws later on, although technically this entire site is about Natural Laws). I use the word “Natural” not in relationship to the plants and animals, but to the unwavering forces of the universe, both the ones that effect us physically, AND the ones that effect us non-physically.
When I say “Natural Law,” I’m not talking about a Nature documentary, I’m talking the fundamental forces that construct our known reality. I’m talking about the gears of this reality-machine. And those forces, of course, effect the plants and animals. Again, keep in mind the miscommunications that can result from intangible words, and see how you are defining my words so that our personal dictionaries will match up, and communication will not break down.
Looking at the picture on the left, imagine Natural Law, the truth, as the straight lines, and the wavy lines as a human’s perceptions, their beliefs, their ideas, their opinions, their views, their paradigms, their “I prefer not to see it that way.” The yellow dots are where the two align with each other—the individual’s perception with objective reality. The more frequently the individual’s perception aligns with the straight line of truth, the higher their frequency. This is what is meant by “having a higher frequency,” you are aligning with truth more frequently. The bottom person (red wave) is getting small doses of truth, the middle person (green wave) is getting it pretty good, and the top person (blue wave) is nearly a total alignment with Nature. Where do you sit?
Many Natural Laws govern the mind, emotions, and the consequences of our behavior. Natural Laws govern the outer world of space, time, and matter, but they also govern the inner world of mind, emotions, and Consciousness, and the relationships between the two. Yes, there are indeed Laws of the mind. And just like with knowing gravity, knowing the Natural Laws that govern the inner world require discovery through awareness of them. They must be made Conscious before your perceptions. There is no invention involved, because there is discovery required.
Natural Law is there, are you aware of it? And here’s the kicker: Natural Laws of the inner world are intangible. It’s all talked about through intangible words. You can’t just stuff every Natural Law into a freaking bottle and measure it with material technology—some things are beyond the reach of science. But you can become aware of Natural Law through Consciousness. The entire universe and all its workings will never be squeezed down into something our five senses can detect—which is why you’ll need your “All Seeing I.” Words are only as powerful as the minds that define them. And they’re also only as valuable as the minds that define them. How powerful, and how valuable, to you, is the word: “Consciousness”?
Natural Law is the deterministic, unwavering, “always on” component of the universe. It is a predictable, impersonal, reality-machine that does what it is designed to do, without fail. It’s force acts upon us and the material universe without falter, and it always determines the consequences of our chosen behavior whether we like it to or not. Natural Law is blind to our beliefs, our desires, and to what we say we want. But it sees in full clarity our choices, our actions, and our energetic transmissions through whatever medium. Natural Law is neither malevolent nor benevolent, Natural Law just is.
Natural Law can be likened to a computing system. The input determines the output. Garbage in, garbage out. Quality in, quality out. Natural Laws do not love you, they do not adjust themselves to comfort you. Gravity will never say: “Gee I don’t want you to fall and die so I’m gonna stop working now.” But Natural Laws do determine what affects your choices and expressed love will have upon the world. Natural Law is listening to your actions, not your dreams.
The information presented on this site is not some idea about how to learn, it is how you learn, according to Natural Law. Call gravity an opinion all you’d like, it won’t change the reality of gravity. Call this site an opinion all you’d like, it won’t change the reality of how to learn.
However, Natural Law is not the only show in town. The universe isn’t some dead, clockwork machine, accidentally producing life. There is also the force of Free Will, of Consciousness, of a Spirit’s POWER. Free Will is bound within the boundary conditions of the reality-machine I call Natural Law. The question is not whether or not you have Free Will, the question is: How Free is your Will? You’re not the Game’s designer, but you are playing the Game. So just how good are you?
